On New Year's Eve, after more than 220 Sundays worshiping in our gym, Excel Church walks back into the Glory House, the domed sanctuary at 1151 Flat Shoals Rd SE in Conyers, rebuilt after the fire of August 2022. Two services, First Night Home at 8:00 PM and Watch Night at 10:30 PM, one homecoming, and the whole community is invited.

Thursday, December 31, 2026, at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. The 10:30 PM service runs through midnight and ends around 12:15 AM. The 8:00 PM service runs about an hour and forty minutes.

No. Every seat is free, and so is every kids and students night.

Yes, please. Reserving helps us plan seats, parking, and kids' rooms, gets your kids pre-registered, and sends you arrival details. Seating is first come at the doors, sanctuary first, then overflow, with a small section held for accessibility needs. Reserve at home.excelchurch.tv.

The 8:00 PM service is best for families with young children and anyone who wants to be home before 10:30. The 10:30 PM service is where we count down to midnight together.

The page shows a waitlist. If seats open, we let you know by email, and by text if you opted in. You are always welcome to watch live at home.excelchurch.tv/live.

Whatever you would wear to ring in the new year. Some people dress up, some come straight from work. You are welcome either way.

No. Bring your family, your neighbors, and your friends. If you have never been to church, or have not been in years, this is a good night to come home.

Please do. Count them when you reserve, or send them home.excelchurch.tv so they can reserve their own seats.

For the 8:00 PM service, doors open at 7:00 PM, and arriving by 7:30 PM gives you the best choice of seats. For the 10:30 PM service, doors open at 10:05 PM; please don't arrive earlier, so the first service can clear the lot. Bringing kids? Kids check-in at the gym building opens at 7:00 PM and 9:55 PM, so come straight there first.

Volunteers direct you from Flat Shoals Rd into our lot and the lots next door. When those fill, free shuttle buses run from our remote lots. Arrival and parking details go out the week of December 28, by text to everyone who opted in, and they are posted at home.excelchurch.tv.

Yes. Follow the signs for drop-off at the front entry, then park. Rideshare drivers use the same lane.

Yes. The Glory House has accessible parking, an accessible shuttle, and accessible seating; ask any greeter. In the kids building, the lower level (The Drop and The Big Bounce) is reached by stairs. If your child uses a wheelchair or needs extra support, call 404.207.1481 by December 22 and we'll plan a main-level option.

Our gym building becomes theirs. The Drop for 6th to 12th grade, The Big Bounce for kindergarten to 5th grade, and Little Lights for birth to 5 years, including our Wee-Zone nursery. Every night is free.

Check-in opens at 7:00 PM for the 8:00 PM service and 9:55 PM for the 10:30 PM service. Pickup is 9:40 to 10:00 PM, or 12:15 to 12:45 AM.

Every room has at least two background-checked adults. Check-in is secure with matching tags, and only the adult with the matching tag picks up. A screened adult stands at every stairwell and outside door. If we ever evacuate, your child stays with their leaders, and you bring your tag to the reunification table in the Glory House foyer, or wherever our team directs you.

Yes. Children are always welcome to worship with their parents.

Tell us at check-in and it prints on your child's tag. Snacks are made without peanuts or tree nuts and labels are posted, but we can't promise an allergen-free kitchen, so children with severe allergies may bring their own snack. A calm room is ready for any child who needs a quieter space. For extra support, call 404.207.1481 by December 22.

No. There is no open flame of any kind. At midnight we count down together into 2027.

Yes, of course. Please share with #ReturningHome, and please don't photograph children who aren't yours.

Yes. The services stream live, and news crews may film. If you would rather not be on camera, ask a greeter for a seat away from the cameras.

We expect our certificate of occupancy on December 15. If anything changes, everyone who reserved hears from us first, by email and by text if you opted in, and the night goes on.
